The scope of the requirement is to provide a full Facilities Management service to the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) together with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS). The SCTS estate is located throughout Scotland and encompasses a variety of building sizes and types from very old listed buildings to more modern structures. The FM requirements for these buildings cover the entire spectrum of construction disciplines and services. The SCTS Estate and COPFS Estate are listed at Appendix 1: A:SCTS Estate and B:COPFS Estate.

Section VI: Complementary information

VI.3)Additional information:

Only the successful contractor will require and be responsible for the completion of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard Application Form for Non-Government Staff. Evidence of vetting to this standard of all the contractor's staff to be used in the provision of the facility management services must be provided to the Authority before the contract commencement date. The costs for obtaining all the necessary vetting certificates will be borne by the successful contractor. The Authority accepts no liability for costs incurred in the process of obtaining such clearance certification. The contractor shall ensure the currency of the facility management employee's vetting certificates for the period of the contract.

Statement on Community Benefit: the nature of the contract will provide the successful bidder opportunities to subcontract to small and medium sized enterprises.

Note: Where the audited account (question 4B.4.4) is not available, please provide one or more of following in respect of your organisation or guarantor (as the case may be):

i. A statement of your turnover, profit and loss account and cash flow for the most recent year of trading; and/or

ii. A statement of your cash flow forecast for the current year and a bank letter outlining the current cash and credit position; and/or

iii. An alternative means of demonstrating financial status if trading for less than a year.
