Office and School Relocation Services - External Provider for the provision of labour and resources to undertake relocation projects, which involve furniture and equipment uplift, removals and redistribution.
The performance of Relocation Services is generally within the Council's geographical boundary.
Two (2) Lots, each with a single supplier.
Lot 1 - Large Relocation Projects - scheduled school or office moves which in most occasions will require pre-inspection and detailed planning and/or risk assessment. Typically the duration of these requirements will take more than one (1) day to complete. There will generally be at least two (2) weeks' notice from the Customer's contact with Service Provider to programme the job, but there may also be some requirements seeking a shorter lead time.
Lot 2 - Small Relocation Projects- urgent and/or unplanned school or office relocation services. There will be a higher frequency of request for Lot 2; most are unlikely to need a detailed pre-inspection and are deemed both low value and low risk. The requirements can typically be completed within a matter of hours, less than one (1) day. Lot 2 requests are generally made with less than two (2) weeks' notice, and regularly have lead-times shorter than one (1) week, and often include same day requests. There can be multiple requests for services to be performed on the same day.
