Fife Council may chose to financially vet the tenderers and this may include.

The Current Ratio will be applied - Current Assets will be divided by Current Liabilities. Tenderers are to provide their current assets and Current liabilities in relation to their published accounts for the last 2 years. Tenderers are expected to achieve a ratio of 1 or more. Where a Tenderer does not meet this requirement further details should be provided to confirm why and the Council may undertake additional financial checks and a qualitative judgement shall be made as to the financial capacity of the Tenderer.

Mandatory Insurance levels:

Employer's Compulsory Liability Insurance 10 000 000 GBP.

Public Liability Insurance 2 500 000 GBP.

Professional Liability Insurance 250 000 GBP.

The conditions this Framework Contract and any Packages awarded shall be the clauses of the NEC3 Framework Contract and Engineering and Construction Short Subcontract subject always to the amendments and any additional Z conditions detailed hereinafter which are held to be incorporated herein and form part of this Agreement.

Tenderers are advised that all vehicles used in the performance of this contract must conspicuous in colour and complete with all warning beacons and must conform to Chapter 8 requirements.

A list of Z Clauses are listed in Appendix A - NEC3 Framework Contract Part 1 and 2.

Z clauses are listed in Section 5 of Appendix B - NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Subcontract.

Tenderers are advised additional Z clauses may be incorporated as appropriate.

The actual works, site, starting date and completion date will be specified for each individual Package tendered/awarded via Call - Off and/or Mini - Competition.

Tenderers are advised that the Appendix A - NEC3 Framework Contract, Appendix B -NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Subcontract and Appendix C - Pricing Schedule must all be completed and submitted with the tender response. Any tender submission received that does not include Appendix A, B or C shall be given no further consideration.
