The MOD (DIO) is seeking to create a TRIRIGA Post Implementation Support Framework for its Infrastructure Management System (IMS) for services not delivered through existing Tier 3 contracted maintenance and support, including:
a. Training Provision;
b. Deployment Support;
c. Support Desk and Change Configuration;
d. Business Intelligence and Analytics;
e. Project Management.
The Infrastructure Management System (IMS) replaces some 70+ separate legacy estate systems drawing information into a single integrated solution to better manage over 4 000 sites worldwide. It provides DIO with a single version of the truth on the running of the MOD estate and enables the DIO to standardise processes.
In steady state the IMS will be used by some 6 000 users across the DIO, Customers and Industry Partners and will directly interface with Financial and Personnel systems, along with Customer and Industry Partner Systems.
Building on lessons learnt from the US Federal Government, MOD is seeking to gather wider market experience of TRIRIGA through opening up the framework to Gold or Silver IBM certified system partners. In-line with Cabinet Office policy, MOD is keen to involve Small to Medium size Enterprises (SME's) with existing TRIRIGA experience.
